The Romanesque Revival church, designed and built in the 1920s by the renowned Charlotte architect Louis Asbury, is cherished by the local community. Preserving this historic site in the ever-changing fabric of Charlotte was important to the community, so our design team worked to keep as many original elements in the space. The church’s original stained glass windows are preserved and provide focal points in each unit. In addition, original wood arched ceilings are exposed and celebrated throughout.
